Our Community Involvement In Bethlehem And The Lehigh Valley

Being a great dentist isn't just about being skilled at your trade. It's also about giving back to the community that supports you. Dr. Lambert has been on the attending medical staff of Lehigh Valley Hospital Network since 1987, now 39 years, and volunteers his time every month to help train the next generation of dental residents, teaching them about advanced materials and techniques and offering treatment insights gained over forty years of continued study. In 2007 he was awarded Lehigh Valley Hospital's Dental Department Teacher of the Year Award. He also spent ten years teaching at Northampton Community College's Department of Dental Hygiene.

National Children's Dental Health Month

Dr. Lambert and the Always About Smiles staff share a passion for instilling the values of good dental care. He and his team regularly teach dental healthcare to elementary schoolers around Pennsylvania, especially during National Children's Dental Health Month every February.

Four bands and even circus music

When he's not at the practice, Dr. Lambert plays alto and tenor saxophone and clarinet with the American Legion Band of Bethlehem, where he has played for the last 53 years. He previously served as principal clarinet with the Easton Municipal Band and the Lehigh Valley Italian-American Band, and played tenor sax with the Hanover Township Big Band. He currently plays with The Allentown Band, America's oldest civilian concert band, formed in 1828, most recently performing for a second time at Carnegie Hall in New York City. He plays with the Penn State Alumni Marching Blue Band at homecoming each year in front of 110,000 fans, directs Lehigh Valley Alumni Blue Band performances for alumni functions, plays in local pit orchestras for theater productions of Broadway classics, and collects circus music, which he plays on clarinet with Windjammers Unlimited, an organization dedicated to preserving and performing the music of the circus.
