Nitrous Oxide Sedation
Nitrous oxide sedation is our lowest level of dental sedation. Also known as laughing gas, it is safe for use with patients of all ages. The gas in inhaled via a face mask during dental treatment. Because of this administration style, the level of dental sedation is easily adjusted throughout treatment and will wear off shortly after we are through. This is a common and very safe form of dental sedation. If you need just a little bit of help relaxing, this might be the solution for you.
Oral Conscious Sedation
Oral conscious sedation is designed for use with patients who are feeling a bit more fearful of dental procedures. We can even treat dental phobia. This type of sedation is administered orally — we prescribe the medication and you take it before coming to our office for the appointment. In this case, you will need a friend or family member to drive you to and from the office because you will be under the influence of the sedation. This premedication will help you feel care-free and very relaxed throughout your visit to our office. While this method of sedation dentistry is harder to adjust mid-procedure, it is still completely safe to use under the correct supervision. We will help you stay comfortable throughout your time in our care.

We also offer some other comfort options that will help you feel at home. These dental options are designed to make your experience painless, pleasant, and positive. Feel free to ask about any of these options while you are at our office. We will do whatever we can to help you feel at home.
